Stinson v. United States
United States Supreme Court – 9–0 decision
William Kent argued and won a unanimous decision before the United States Supreme Court involving the interpretation of the federal sentencing guidelines. The decision has since been cited thousands of times by courts across the country and referenced in later landmark sentencing cases. This case remains one of the most significant appellate victories of his career.
